The Nigeria former Ambassador to Bulgaria and Romania is dead

With gratitude to God for a life well spent, the Okogwu family of  Elibujor village Asaba sadly announce the passing unto glory of our father Ambassador Dr Leo Okogwu at 84.

Until his death, he was the founder of Nwanonyei Schools, an erudite doctorate degree holder of law and a former student of St Patrick's College Asaba. He loved his Asaba community and fought for what was good.

As a career diplomat and ambassador, he has written many books to his credit and was an ardent promoter of knowledge.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Fare thee well Ogbueshi Ugobueze.
