Delta State was  not left out as both Ministries, agencies, government and non governmental organizations carried out a street walk inline with the slogan Orange the world.

With 2022 themed "Unite Activism ; to end violence against women"

Dressed in Orange coloured T Shirts with plycart with inscritptions saying

"We advolcate for more women in decision making process at all levels", More empowered women, more transformed and better society,We support the advocaty for women right
,Stop all forms of harmful cultural practices against women and girls,


 Speaking the General Commander of the orange brigade and  the wife of the Delta State Governor Dame Edith Okowa said awareness campaign would  help to sensitize, educate and enlighten the masses on the dangers of gender based violence and other inhumane treatment on women.
The rally led by the Commissioner for Women Affairs community and Social development Mrs Floral Alatan climaxed at the office of the general commander of the orange bridge.

She thanked the governors wife for lending a hand to those affected by domestic violence.

In an interview  the PDP house of Assembly flag bearer, Oshimili South LGA Barrister  Benedicta Aya fulu and  the chair person NAWOJ  bared their mind on the importance of the  16 days of activisim.
