Christains have been reminded that materials acquisition is nothing without a life built on Christ
The Bishop of the Anligican diocese of Asaba, Cathedral Church of saint Peter Right Reverend Kingsley Obuh stated this at the church
Christmas service.
Right Reverend Obuh who took his text from John chapter 1 to 14 said Christmas commemorate the birth of Jesus and stressed that his birthday brought joy to the world
He noted that no matter the material wealth acquired by an unbeliever, it's amounts to nothing with out salvation.
Right Reverend Obuh said believers would enjoy the values of the world if the fully put their trust in God and noted that with Christ , christains can conquer sin and gain enternity.
At the Christains Pentecostal mission, Reverend AbrahamTriumphant spoke on what he title "glad tirdeness of great joy" and emphasized that the birth of Jesus was to save the word from sin and that it calls for celebrations
According to him, the birth of Jesus brought good tidies, , and prayed that every believer would end the year in peace.
Reverend Trimphant said if believer remain righteous, peace would reign upon the nation Nigeria as well as the entire world.
