Ika drivers Association, marks it's forth Anniversary

 The Delta State Commissioner of  Police CP  Mohamed Ariali has said security remains top priority to Drivers during the festive season

He stated this at the  fourth anniversary of the Ika driver Association, held at Agbor

The Police Commissioner represented by the Agbor Area Commander Friday idachaba advised Ika drivers to be curious of the driving rules as well as ensure safety and security   why driving.

He called on government at all levels to direct the appropriate authorities to clear  the shoulders of the major high ways, to avoid kidnappers and to provide drivers a clear vision, that could help to determine activities happening ahead of them

 said  increment in fare was as a result of hike in fuel price and  vehecle spare parts

Honourable Okoh who is also the patron to the group advised  driver to work within the limit of resources of the common man, as the minimum wage could hardly foot bills  of the average Nigerians
The FRSC Marshal inspectorate training School, Owa Alero reprsented by suprintendent Route  Commander Adeolola Omolola sued for training and retraining of the ika driver stressing that adequate training would Improve safety on the Nigerian roads.

The President, Ika Drivers Association , Comrade Bishop Anthony, the deputy Comrade Godwin Owadike and the secretary Asaba branch Comrade  Jude Okoise  said the body is aimed  at  promoting the welfare of members, strengthen and enhance the skill of members for better service delivery as well as to promote the welfare of the less Privileged in the society.
