Workers all over, resume today 3rd January 2023 after the Christmas and new year break.
Our reporter Henrietta Oniyamah who visited Professor Chike Edozie Secretariat in Asaba the Delta State Capital said only a few workers had resumed.
Speaking with some of the Workers on why the turn up on duty was very low, they assumed that the cost of transportation may have increased due to constant increase on the cost of premium motor Sprit and the scarcity of the product in filling stations.
Others where of the view that the holiday was short and people needed more time to relax with family members and friends.
Some workers who were on duty today arrived late and may closed earlier as they were still in the euphoria of the festivities.
