Omo-Agege has assured the Delta State Civil Servants of a better welfare deals


 he Deputy President of the Senate and the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Party,APC,DSP Ovie Omo-Agege has assured the Delta State Civil Servants of a better welfare deals when elected the Governor of Delta State.

The Senate Deputy President gave the assurance in a town hall meeting in Asaba with the group, Concerned  Progressive Workers for Agege/Osanebi,which cut across both the civil servants and the Private sector.

He promised to clear all pensions own retired workers of the state,pay promotion arrears, bring back leave bonus,end workers victimization,look into the welfare of civil servants and pay hardship allowance to all levels of civil servants.

DSP also assured workers in the Private sectors of government intervention to grow their businesses and create an investment attractive friendly state,while those in transport sector especially those operating keke to reduce the sales on tickets in other for to make profits.

Agege while lamenting that the Delta State Workforce is not being care for by the government it's serving,made commitment to be having quarterly meeting with workers where they can express their views and remind him of his promises if he derailed DSP vowed to bring back most of the oil company that left the state,promise to make the Nigeria Port Authority,NPA in warri and the Delta Steel Company,DSC in UDU work again to create jobs for deltans,he assured on building an ICT hub in the three Senatorial area of the state to make delta state an app development center.

On the exhurbitant fees students are currently paying in the state tertiary institutions,IMO-Agege promised downward review immediately he takes over as governor of Delta state.
He said on the rumors that he would avenge Governor Okowa's focus of developing only a particular area of the state,he assured that he would equitably distribute projects and development across the state.

While appealing to the workers to be his canvassers at the march 11 governorship election,he also call on them to vote all APC candidates in all elections,the DSP of the Senate promised to curb the high cost of housing in the state by complete all abandoned civil servants housing estate and building more.

Reading the resolution of workers at the town hall meeting,the leader of the group comrade festus Doghene complained of high cost rent,high schools for their children in schools,high cost of living which cannot be afforded with the salary the earn as workers.He said with Senator Agege has the next governor of  delta state they believe he has the required capacity,experience to govern delta state better.
He appealed to the Senate Deputy  President to address workers welfare,most especially retiree's whose pension has been for over the past five years since they retired,while assuring DSP of massive votes from the workers in favor of the APC Guber Candidate in the person of senator Agege as the next governor of Delta state.
