Okada riders in patani LGA has pleaded with Barr Raymos Guanah,the APC house of assembly candidate to facilitate employment for them into the civil service .
They spoke when Barr Raymos Guanah had an interactive session with them.
Barr Raymos Guanah had visited them to solicit their votes for the APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking on behalf of the okada riders,Mr Selekowei Orutu said that most of them were graduates who had to take to okada riding because they have not been able to secure employment in the civil service or any other establishment.
The okada riders asked for support so that they can get new motorcycles as the ones they are using presently are old and most of them are on hire purchase.
Responding,Barr Raymos Guanah bemoaned the unfortunate situation where due to the inability of the state government to employ and also create a conducive environment for people be self employed, graduates have now taken to okada riding with the attendant risks.
Barr Raymos Guanah promised that when elected,he will encourage them to form cooperative societies so that they will benefit from the APC government that will be on board from may 29th 2023.
He urged them to support all the candidates of the APC in the persons of Bola Tinubu for president.

Tam Obriki for house of representatives and senator Ovie Omo Agege for governor.

On the side of the okada riders were Lambert Premobowei, John Akaka ,Elder Godspower Amor,Mr Damabide Zachaues among others

The APC house of assembly candidate for patani constituency Barr Raymos Guanah has urged women of Bulu Angiama community to vote for all the APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Barr Raymos Guanah made the plea when he played host to members of the Ebidou Ogbo women group of Bulu Angiama during a town hall meeting with them.
Earlier,the chairperson of the group,Mrs Ebi Oguta estoled Barr Raymos Guanah for the development projects he executed in the community when he was the local government council chairman.
She said that the women were predominantly farmers and need support in the arena of agrochemicals, improved seeds etc.
Responding, Barr Raymos Guanah said that being a farmer himself,he understands the needs of the people.
He promised to give them some agrochemicals before the elections and assured them that the APC government is a government that takes special interest in agriculture.
He spoke about the rice revolution of the federal government and assured that agriculture is captured in the Ovie Omo Agege EDGE agenda.
He promised to give quality representation to the people of patani constituency when elected and urged them to vote for all the APC candidates of Tinubu for president, Joel Onowakpor Thomas for sentate,Tam Obriki for house of representatives, Omo Agege for governor and himself for house of assembly.
The team later moved to agoloma to have another round of interaction.
At agoloma, Mr Jones Forcados spoke of the neglect of the community by the PDP government and expressed hope that the APC government will give them the required succour.
Also speaking,Ms Blessing Agbunu bemoaned the lack of any tertiary institution in the entire LGA.
In his response,Barr Raymos Guanah commended the people for making up their minds to vote for the APC.
He assured them that their votes will count in the elections and that their decision to vote for the APC will not be regretted.
Referring to the request for a tertiary institution in the LGA Barr Guanah said that her view is the position of many people in the LGA .
He urged them to vote Tinubu for president, Joel Onowakpor Thomas for sentate, Tam Obriki for house of representatives, Omo Agege for governor and himself for house of assembly
