In a bid to checkmate security breaches, the Chief Inspector of Education for Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Miss Anuma Eduvie has installed solar flood lights in the premises of the Field office of the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.
Eduvie, who disclosed this while giving account of her stewardship as the Chief Inspector of Education in charge of Ughelli North, expressed her resolve to sustain her achievements for the overall benefits of the Ministry .
She noted that in the time past , the office experienced security issues, adding that during that period its electricity caples were stolen.
She stated that she constructed a new generator house in the office for proper protection and security of the office generator.
Eduvie also said that as part of her commitment to ensure that the office was conducive for her staff, she linked the office back electricity grid after the office was cut off for a long time vandalisation of its caples.
The CIE added that she reconstructed a portion of the floor of the building that cracked so as to befit the statue of the field office of the Ministry.
Eduvie opined that she would not have achieved much without the cooperation and support of her staff and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Augustine Oghoro who she said was very concerned about the improvement of the welfare of the field offices.
