The Forum of Delta State Civil Societies group and Non Governmental Organizations has said it will established a liaison between the Federal government and the Delta State government to prefer solutions to issues bedeviling the Nations growth and development.
They stated this at the end of a critical stakeholders meeting held in Asaba the Delta State Capital where a communique was issued.

Mr Binitie who read out issues Itemized by the group said as watch dog of the society, there was need to address issues bothering on Nigerians especially electricity and the petroleum subsidy removal which had caused untold hardship on citizens
Deacon Okezi Odigala , Co- Ordinator Civil Societies Forum emphasized on the need to put an end , the abandonment of government projects noting that some of such projects does not meet specifications and standards.
He therefore called on individuals irrespective of their place of origin to come up with proven evidence indicating that such projects, was either abandon or do not meet specifications, showing video or pictorial evidence which will be linked to a website and with proven cases of investigation, the airing parties involved in the abandonment of such projects would be brought to book.
They also preferred Solutions on revamping the Nigeria Refineries, and the need to allow local production as against the importation of crude while they also stressed the need for a stable electricity due to its positive impact at turning around the economy.
They appealed to government at all levels to desist from freebies in the guise of providing palliative to Nigerian instead such monies should be used to enhance critical sectors like health care delivery, electricity supply, while stressing that the fund saved as a result of subsidy removal should be reinvested to benefits the suffering masses.
They called for salary increments and the total stoppage of gas fleering while stressing the need for the stoppage of gas fleering they suggested that flered gas should be converted into economic advantage for use by Nigerians.
