The Delta State Child's Right implementation Committee has resolved it's commitment to inaugurate the local Government chapters of the body
The Permanent Secretary Ministry of women affairs Community and social development Mrs Oghenekevwe Agas stated this in Asaba at a meeting with the Committee members.
Mrs Agas said the committee would embark on an advocate visit to the current governor of the State, Honourable sheriff Oborevwori, Council Chairmen, Authorities of the Ministry of education, Members of the Traditional ruler Council as well as well meaning individual to solicit support inorder to achieve their mandate of the Committee
According to her, the issues of examination malpractice would be given utmost priority with a view to enhancing the child's right act.
Mrs Agas said the Committee would do all within it's powers to
improve, protect, and defend the rights of the child
