EZINNE HELENA ABOLOMA FOUNDATION TO IMPACT POSITIVELY ON LIVES---OSITA ABOLOMA

An expert in Quality Assurance and the  Chairman of the National Quality Council  of Nigeria, under the Presidency,  Mr. Osita Aboloma , has asserted that Ezinne Helena Foundation would impact positively  on lives 

Aboloma ,a former Director-General of Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON),  is  the Chief Quality Assurance Officer of the Federation that supervised quality infrastructure in Nigeria.

He said that the foundation was aimed at institutionalizing the modest contributions of the deceased towards the upliftment of humanity, adding that the best way to immortalise their mother was to establish a foundation in her honour.

He stated this at Ubulu-Okiti , Aniocha South Local Government Area in Delta State while speaking with journalists after the burial ceremony of his mother, late Ezinne Helena Aboloma who passed on at the age of 89 years.

Aboloma, who said that perseverance, dedication and hardwork as well as faith in God were the bedrock of their mother, recalled how their mother brought them up in the fear of God , inculcated discipline in them and instilled in them the virtues of love  and hardwork.

The National Quality Assurance Chairman explained that  despite the huge number of people who contributed their resources and time to honour their mother, especially those whose lives have been touched positively by either her or her children in one way or the other.


Anoloma hinted that late Ezinne Helena Anoloma woman was a  peaceful woman  and home maker. God fearing , stressing that the St James Catholic Church , Ubulu Okiti where she wedded 56 years ago and honoured with Ezinne title was the same church where the funeral mass was held.
He noted that their mother was able to harness the characters of all her children by bringing the best out of them , adding that she extended the measure of love and care to other children who were not her biological children , a gesture which he said made it difficult for people to identify her biological children out of other children around her.

Also speaking,  a cousin to the deceased, Mr. Michael Iwekuba, who came all the way from Canada to attend the funeral  and Mr. Richard Arinze said that the decreased was a woman of substance , who they asserted was kindhearted, unassuming and accommodating.

They stated that late Ezinne Helena Aboloma knew how to nucture and sustain relationship and urged their children to take solace in the fact that their mother lives a fulfilled life just as they enjoined them to sustain her legacies.

It could be recalled that during the burial carnival like burial ceremony, Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu , Chief Dan Okenyi, Dr. Festus Okubor and Mr. Emmanuel Mafiana in their separate remarks urged the deceased families to consolidate on the legacies of their mother, describing her as humble and industrious woman.
