BY MAGNUS EMUJI

The National Association of Proprietors of  Private Schools (NAPPS), Delta State Chapter, has described the supreme court judgement that affirmed the election of the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as a true reflection of the will of Deltans.

The State Chairman of the Association, Deaconess Young Precious Nwanne   and the Secretary, Mrs. Rose Obi while reacting to the verdict, congratulated the Governor for his victory.

In a statement on behalf of members and Executives of the State NAPPS , Deaconess  Young and Mrs. Obi, said that  by the  supreme court verdict in favour of the Governor, he would be more focused now to deliver on his MORE agenda anchored on realistic reforms and sustainable development in the State.

The Delta State NAPPS leadership , however, said that though the Governor passed through a very long legal battle by the opposing factors,  that had now been determined by the supreme court in his favour , the Governor should put everything behind him and accomodate them whenever they wanted to make contributions in moving the state forward.

The statement described the judgement as an act of God and a confirmation of the fact that God was always with the Governor in all his political trajectories.

It  noted that the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori ever since it came onboard, has continued to demonstrate commitment towards improving the education system in the state.

The NAPPS Chairman and Secretary said that NAPPS was designed to provide quality education in the society, adding that the Association had been enjoying cordial working relationship with the supervising Education Ministries in the state.
