In a bid to reduce the rate of criminal activities and kidnapping the State government has set up a task force to apprehend tricycle and taxi operators who refuses to comply to the state colour code of blue and white Thereby calling commuters to take note and ensure that vehicles with out the state colour and code number should be avoided by passengers. 

 The Delta State Head of task force Under the Ministry of transport Mr Harrison Okoro during an enforcement exercise Carried out at the Summit, Koka , and the Bonsac areas all within Asaba the Delta State Capital. Said the exercise was in alignment with government quest at enforcing and monitoring colour code compliance with taxi and tricycle Operators in the State. 

 He said unauthorized vehicles masquerading as taxi's stands as potential risk to passengers and warned passengers against the use of such vehicle's and tricycle's 

 The Oshimili south Alternate task force Mr Victor Johnson and Mr Michael Akpodhona an administrative Officer with the Ministry of transport said henceforth the task force would crack down on vehicles and tricycles unregistered with the Ministry for colour and code numbers

 They noted the that zigzag painting done on unregistered taxi's by the task force, stands as a reminder that the state taxi colour is white and blue therefore operators should adhere to the established guidelines on colour code.

 Highlight of the exercise was the task force forcefully painting taxi with the state-designated color as a corrective measure aimed at ensuring compliance to the designated colour of blue and white. class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
