Six officers of the Nigeria police force declared missing , with six others confirmed dead.




Six officers of the Nigeria police force have been declared missing with six others confirmed dead.

According  to the report by the Nigeria police force head quarters,  the Officer were on a fact finding, and rescue mission which resulted to the death of six officers while the six others was reported missing  after being ambushed by hoodlums at Ughelli

The Nigerian Police Force has so far arrested eight Suspects in connection with the brutal killing of six officers ambushed in February 23, and 26, 2024 

According to the  Force headquarters Public Relations Officer, Mr ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi who confirmed the arrest, explained that "Five suspects were initially arrested shortly after the incident, and now an additional three suspects were apprehended at different locations in the State".

ACP. Olumuyiwa said the  arrest was followed by  the statements and cooperation of the five initially arrested suspects, bringing the total number of arrests so far to eight.

He stated that the Police, through intensive investigations had made significant progress on the matter, and would not relent until those involved in the bastardly act is brought to book 

The arrested suspects are currently in custody, assisting with the ongoing investigation will soon be charged to court.

He expressed sadness  and prayed  that the six missing officer were found on hurt as well as for  the families of the fallen officers.
