The Vice President of South South , Zone F, of the Nigerian Association of Women Journalists has Underscored the significance of Workers' Day, which is marked annually on May first.
She stated this in a statement issued in Asaba the Delta State Capital.
Comrade Stella Macaulay sued for solidarity and collaboration among workers, employers, as well as journalists in striving towards a more equitable and inclusive society.
Comrade Macaulay while emphasizing the invaluable contributions of workers across various sectors said workers plays a pivotal role at driving economic growth and societal development.

The Vice President Comrade Macaulay called for greater synergy between workers and employers at institutionalizing labour rights and fair working conditions for all.

Highlighting the significant role of journalists the Zone F Vice President NAWOJ urged journalist on the need to amplify the voices of workers and to shed light on issues related to labour rights and social justice.
