The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
in the September 21st election, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has said if elected would restore the lost glory of the state-owned Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma
He gave the promise during a strategic meeting in Ekpoma , Esan West local government area of Edo state promising to reinstate all victimized lecturers in the university if elected as well as the reduction of tuition fees while also ensuring lecturers owed arrears of payment.
The APC candidate used the opportunity to update the leadership of the party on his activities at the Senate and the struggle to secure the party’s ticket.
He expressed gratitude for their unwavering support and vowed to protect the interests of every member of Esan land and Edo State.
He assured them of his commitment to governance guided by the fear of God if elected as governor.
Present at the meeting were the member representing Esan West State Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, his counterpart representing Etsako West constituency 1, Hon. Hussain Mustapha Lecky, Honourable Victor Edoror Sabor, among others.
