Grassroots footballer, Utazi Onyebuchi is dead

 A grassroots footballer, Utazi Onyebuchi at the weekend Slumped and died during training at a football pitch in Agbor, Ika South local government area of Delta State.

The Guardian gathered that the player was standing alone after training in one of the Primary Schools pitch when he suddenly slumped without anybody contact with someone else.

The deceased was said to be a defender with The Winners FC Agbor, after playing for KG Sports Agbor from 2019 to 2022.

The source said the footballer was rushed to the nearby hospital for quick medications but he was declared dead by medical personnel on duty, on arrival at the hospital.

The course of his death was still sketching at the time of filling the report 

When contacted, The spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident.
