Many are religious but not Christ like

Many people are religious but they are not Christ like.

Mr Joseph Ogbolu who ministered during the covenant youth Sunday stated this while delivering a sermon titled " in times like this" at the Christian PENTECOSTAL MISSION ASABA the Delta State Capital.

He said many Christians do not display integrity in times of difficulties noting that believers most trust and obey God as well as know their purposes in life.

Mr Ogbolu who took his texts from second Timothy chapter three , John chapter sixteen and Genesis Forty seven said that God was interested in how believers could tackle difficulty situation.

According to him, God gave Joseph knowledge on how to handle the situation in Egypt when money failed, he therefore advised the youths to be skilful and be entrepreneurs

Mr Ogbolu stressed the need for a youths to have an identity and not live in hypocrisy and dishonesty as God must be served in truth and in spirit.

He called on all Christians to learn to give to the service of God and humanity and to be faithful in tithing, and to live sanctified lives as well as not to being confirmed to the world but being transformed by the renewing of God's word

The highlights of the covenant youth Sunday was Choir ministration, drama, and Bible recitation.
