Former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu says he is not ready to support the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate,


 The  former deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu   says he is not ready to support the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Asue Ighodalo.

He stated this while speaking with journalist  

The former deputy governor said despite several attempts he made  to know his plans for the   governorship ambition. He never  opened up to him , 


Shaibu  expressed plans to reunite with the former Governor of the Edo state  Adams Oshiomhole.

Shaibu noted that he has consistently apologized to Oshiomhole. However, he does not regret his pasted  actions because the former Governor led them to fight against godfathers.


According to him,  he will consistently apologise to Comrade Adams ,  over what happened in 2020, especially the language  used during the period. 

He said  looking at some of the videos, the only thing  he could do was to  apologise. 


He stated his unreadiness to support the governorship candidate of the party, Asue Ighodalo, and  that until the PDP does the needful, stressing that he  had not  open up to him about his ambition despite asking him several times.

He affirmed that the  younger brother, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, had earlier announced  moves to make his elder brother the governor of Edo State .
