Interface , with Police, especially during stop and search says CP Abaniwonda Olufemi

The Delta State Commissioner of Police.  CP Abaniwonda Olufemi  has urged members of the public to exercise patience when interfacing with the police, especially during stop and search.

He stated this in a press statement issued in Asaba the Delta State Capital 

The Police commissioner who spoke through  the state command Police Public Relation Officer Bright Edafe said the stop and search by police was to ensure the safety and security of all.

He also stated that the Delta State  command  arrested a 28 year-old suspected Cultist and two others who were members of Eiye confraternity 

The command's spokesman Bright Edafe who confirmed the arrest  Sunday, 12 of May at about 0430hrs, said the special team deployed to Ughelli by the commissioner of Police, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi led by ASP Julius Robinson acted   intelligence information and stormed Oghara town were they arrested the suspect.
 The suspect there after led the operatives to a hotel in koko Junction Oghara where another suspect aged 46yrs and a member of Eiye confraternity was arrested with an automatic Pump Action. discovered 

Further interrogation led the operatives to arrest another  32 yrs old suspect in Sapele, the Police discovered another AK-47 rifle with and an empty magazine.

The Police upon investigation revealed that the suspects were  linked to a series of kidnappings in Ughelli, Warri, Sapele, and the environs. 

The Police special  squad   assignment to Ughellli, on  May 9, 2024 at about 2205 hrs, chased a notorious cultist/gun runner named Okobe Ability ‘m’, to Oleh town in Isoko  North  LGA of Delta State, but the suspect upon sighting the police operatives dropped a black polythene bag and escaped.
