The newly installed Diokpa-Isi of Umu-Idigbe Ocha Quarters, Okpanam in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Ogbueshi John Nwajei has called on his subjects to wholeheartedly support his administration in order not to only consolidate the peaceful coexistence but also ensure the development of the community.
He also called for synergy among his subjects .
Ogbueshi Nwajei made the call in Umu-Idigbe Ocha Quarters during his coronation and installation as the Diokpa-Isi of the community.
He said that his coronation/installation was in accordance with the tradition and custom of Okpanam community, adding that he would lead his people with the fear of God and tell them the truth at all times.
Ogbueshi Nwajei, who enjoined the people to remain truthful, peaceful and united for the benefits of Umu-Idigbe Ocha community, stated that he would operate open door policy and carry his people along in the scheme of things.
While urging his subjects to always support him and give him useful advice that could bring more development to the community, Ogbueshi Nwajei noted that the success of his administration was the success of all .
Speaking to newsmen, the Ikejiani of Okpanam Kingdom, Chief Felix Okafor said that the Diokpa-Isi of Umu-Idigbe Ocha community was his relative and described him as a straightforward man .
Chief Okafor urged youths to respect their elders so as to receive their blessings just as he congratulate Ogbueshi Nwajei on his successful installation as the Diokpa-Isi of Umu-Idigbe Ocha Quarters.
Also speaking, Comr. Evangelist Ifeanyi Obanya, the Chairman of Umu-Idigbe Ocha youths, Comr. Charles Okudishu and the son of the celebrant, Mr. Emeka Nwajei said that Ogbueshi Nwajei had fulfilled all the requirements needed for his installation in adherence to the traditions and culture of Okpanam community.
They said that the celebrant was a very unassuming personality, a man of integrity , kindhearted , God fearing and a committed community leader who had contributed immensely towards the peace and unity of his community even as his son , Emeka Nwajei described him as his mentor.
