The Delta State House Of Assembly workers, under the orgies of Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), has embarked on Indefinite Strike action Over Non-Payment Of Approved Salaries, non funding of the clinic and others Sundry issues.
The workers after enlarged meeting expressed displeasure over delays in payment of entitlements,
They expressed disappointment that till date payment for the Consolidated Legislative Salary Structure (CONLESS) approved over three years was still not regularized as well as the training of staff and other entitlements remained on attended to
A communique was issue to the Speaker, and signed by the state chairman of PASAN, Emmanuel Edozie and secretary, Emmanuel Osubor, and copied all directors, national presidents of PASAN, commissioner of police, Delta state, Director, DSS and chairman, NLC, Delta State.
