The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Emevor Ward 7, in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, 8, May 2024 passed a vote of confidence on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in appreciation of the infrastructural development across the state, particularly the Emevor-Orogun road in the community.
The Leaders , Elders and Stakeholders passed the vote of confidence during a meeting of the PDP Emevor held at the country home of the Chairman Delta State Hospitals Management Board, HMB, Dr Paul Oweh.
The motion was moved by former Councillor in the Ward, Mr Sylvester Ifode and seconded by Secretary General of the Emevor Progress Union, EPU, Deacon Festus Okah.
The meeting was held to discuss the way forward for the PDP in Emevor kingdom, they commended Governor Oborevwori for his impactful leadership, infrastructural development across the state, particularly as it concerns the construction of Phase 1 of the Emevor-Orogun Road in the community and the Ughelli-Asaba Road dualisation project.
The party expressed delight at the prospects of inaugurating the road during the one year anniversary of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's administration
