FEMALE JOURNALIST TO PROPERGATE GOVT POLICIES AND PROGRAM

The member representing Isoko North/South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Ajiroghene Jonathan Ukodikho, has said the duties of a true leader was to make informed decisions that would better the lot of the people He stated this at his country home in Isoko North local government area while playing host to the Vice President , Nigeria Association of Women Journalist South - South , Zone F, Comrade Stella Macaulay and other National Executive of the body. Honourable Ukodikho said leaders should be accountable to the people, for adequate representation while calling on the members of NAWOJ to key into his open door policy, promising to respond whenever he is being called upon. He outlined his contributions to his constituent to include Scholarship programme, women, widows and youth empowerment programms and urged members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalist for effective dissemination of information as well as adequate propagation of the Governor Oborevweri's MORE Agenda. The Vice President, Nigeria Association of Women Journalist South - South Comrade Stella Macaulay commended Honourable Ukodikho"s effort and contributions to the Isoko Nation saying that his antecedent speaks Volume in the lives of the widows, Youth's as well as in areas of infrastructural development, sighted in different part of Isoko land and prayed for his elevation to attain a higher political career. The VP South South said, the delegate conference at Abuja last year, saw her emergence as the South South Vice President of NAWOJ stressing that it was the first time a Deltans is occupying such an exotic position, therefore has deemed it fit to get his fatherly blessing, as well as congrats him on his victory at the polls. She appealed to him, to accept the proposal as the legislator of the year's award for the up coming NAWOJ conference . Highlight of the visit was the presentation of wrapper to the wife of the Legislator Mrs Ukodikho as well as the presentation of Isoko books to promote the learning of the language
