The body was conveyed in a motor cage from St Joseph Catholic Mortuary Asaba to his Residence at Idumu Ocha village, Obodogwugwu Quarters, Okpanam for his burial rites.
A funeral service was earlier held at the MOUNT ZION SOLUTION GROUND, SACRED CHERUBIM And SERAPHIM CHURCH. Asaba by SPECIAL APOSTLE and BARR. VICTOR UGBOKO ELUEMUNOR
The burial sermon was taken by Special Apostle Michael Isàmade of CHERUBIM and SERAPHIM MOVEMENT CHURCH, Odikpe Street, Umuezei Quarters, Asaba.
He Said death is an inevitable end of man and that every believer must be prepare for death inorder to gain eternity.
According to him, Death is a debt to be paid by all men irrespective of tribe, religion, status , or age as such every man most be prepared as the time is unknown.
He said, late Elder Anthony Okocha has reached his finish line on earth, and that what was left of him, was judgement, and advised everyone to begin to reconcile themselves with Lord in order to gain eternity
Those present at the burial ceremony , described late Elder Anthony Okocha as a caring ,loving father and a good friend, whose impact would not be easily forgotten.
They said, he had been a victim of Social injustice having been deformed on his right leg by police bullets 13 years ago in pursuit of peace and selfless service for his community who abandoned him thereafter.
The Grave side prayers was officiated by Special Apostle and BARR VICTOR ELUEMUNOR UGBOKO, while the dust to dust rite was performed by his children and family members , thereafter the body was laid to mother earth .
Late Mr Anthony Okocha was born 1961, died at Age, 63 and he is survived by a wife and two 2 Sons, brothers, Sisters and other close relations.
