The Delta State Commissioner for Information, Dr Ifeanyi Osuoza has frowned at the article titled: "Thinking Aloud: Is Governor Sheriff Oborevwori a Placeholder For Okowa?" written by Mr Ovasa Ogaga.
Dr Osuoza said Mr Ovasa Ogaga, has always misinformed the Public with the use of some popular words or slogan to express his unverified points, without even understanding the meaning of the words.

According to the Information Commissioner, I wonder why Mr Ogaga is delusional in his sense of reasoning stressing that in his statement said Oborevwori is a Placeholder for Okowa." was hilarious.

He described him as a critic masquerading as hack journalists in the application and usage of such words and also explained that a placeholder is "Someone or something used or included temporarily or as a substitute for something that is not known or must remain generic; i.e., that which holds, denotes, or reserves a place for someone or something to come later."
Dr Osuoza noted that the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was. On May 29, 2023, rightfully swore an oath of office to become the substantive Executive Governor of Delta State, therefore Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is not and cannot be a Placeholder.

He advised that Mr Ovasa Ogaga should also know that in addition to numerous ongoing infrastructure projects, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has achieved much in the areas of civil service, pensions, bursaries, employment, and empowerment. Over 50,000 civil service salaries are being paid promptly, promotions and arrears addressed, and significant financial support given to students and small businesses. Health facilities have been upgraded, and numerous development projects are ongoing across the state.

The Information Commissioner outlined the policies and programmes of initiated by governor Oborevweri's administration to include Enhanced Peace and Security, especially in relation to the oil and gas sector, Delta State has witnessed zero protests and shutdown, provided Employment opportunities , host communities have witnessed appreciable peace and development.

He said just last year, the Delta State government under Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has resolved several long-standing disputes, ensured stability in the petroleum product supply chain, as well as achieved numerous developmental strides and initiatives.

The Information Commissioner stressed that such level of accomplishment clearly disproves the baseless claims of selective governance.
