The Delta State Governor, Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori has Constituted a 20-man Flood Disaster Management Committee for the year, 2024
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Dr Kingsley Eze Emu.
The statement adds that the duties of the committee, was to put appropriate measures in place for the prevention and management of flood
and to address the issues of displaced persons the committee will provide feedback information to the Governor .
The members of committee were

The Commissioner, Bureau for Special Duties.Hon. Ejiro Terry Etacherure as Co-Chairman, and the Permanent Secretary, Bureau for Special Duties G.E. Ejohwomu, as Secretary of the flood committee

While the Commissioner for Environment.Mr. Ejiro Tommy Jamai
Commissioner for Health Dr. Joseph Onojaeme.,
Commissioner for Primary Education.Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu and the Commissioner for Secondary Education.Mrs. Rose Ezewe wer noe also members of the Committee.
The committee also has the Commissioner, Humanitarian Affairs, Social and Girl Child Development, Orode Meyiwa Uduaghan
