Youths have been advised to shun all social vices and remain focused in activities that will better their lives as they are the leaders of tomorrow.
The proprietress of Peculiar School, Okpanam, Stephanie Oby Okalla gave the advise during the 2024 prize giving day valedictory service held at the school campus, Obodogba quarters, Okpanam in Oshimili North Local Government Area, Delta state.
She enjoined the graduands to always have positive mindset and believe in themselves in everything they were doing in life , adding that with the training and studies they had gotten so far, there was great trust and believe that they could face and handle any challenge that might come their way henceforth.
While wishing them success in their future endeavours, she urged them to always take life easy, stressing that life in school and life outside the four walls of a school was very different.
Okalla, however, urged them to trend with caution at all times and try as much as possible to avoid all forms of social vices and thanked God for a successful event.
On her part, the school elocution teacher, Miss Glory John commended the school Proprietress, , Mrs Oby Okalla for venturing into the education sector
She said that the Proprietress was doing a great job in the education sector and advised the graduands to always ensure that they put in their best in everything find themselves doing .
Miss John stated that the school had given them all the necessary basic educational background training needed for them to excel in life and emphasized the need for them to develop their talents.
The event featured presentation of awards to the graduands in nursery , primary and secondary arms of the school, presentation of poems, choreography, valedictory speech, dances by the different classes among other activities.
