The Protesters trooped out in their numbers through major streets to showcase their displeasure about bad governance as well as the high cost of food items which have left the common man in hunger. 
The high cost of fuel pump price, is biting hard on the people the minimum wage of thirty thousand Naira considered insufficient for civil servant among other demands.
In all of these, protesters carried placards with different inscription highlighting various problems occasioned by bad governance.
The protest also had its fair share of negative influence as some hoodlums seized the opportunity to vandalize both private and public properties
States like Abuja, Jigawa, Nasarawa, Kaduna,Borno Niger were amoung states has experienced casualties as some persons were reported to have been shot dead and others arrested.
In all the states there was heavy security presence
