Odih Celebrates His Elevation As Secretary Of PDP For Oshimili North

The Secretary, Oshimili North Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Special Assistant to the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Security Matters, Hon. Tony Odih  , has commended the leadership of the party and other party faithful for finding him worthy to pilot the secretariat of the party for a greater dominance of the party in the area.

Odih  made the commendation in a get together party he organized to celebrate his recent elevation in the leadership of the party which was attended by the PDP chairman in Oshimili North, Sir Joseph Ijeh (aka...Sir Joe) .

He  called for a collective efforts to sustain the party dominance in Oshimili North and reminded the people that was always a time to plant and harvest.

He said that he was thankful to God for making everything possible and for remembering his contributions in the party,  adding that there was no better way to appreciate God enough.

The PDP Secretary emphasized the need for the people of Okpanam community to respect their constituted authority, stressing that His Royal Majesty, Ugoani of Okpanam remained their father in the community. 

In an interview with newsmen, his elder brother, Mr. Charles Odih expressed excitement that the efforts of  his younger brother in the party was yielding results as he has received the unanimous support of party leaders and stakeholders as well as members of the party to serve as the Oshimili North secretary of the party.

He said that the recognition was the beginning for a better tomorrow and appreciated the Governor and the chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon. (Chief ) Innocent Esewezie for remembering those that worked and kept working for the growth and success of the party.

Charles Odih asserted that successive administrations of PDP in the state had done well for the good people of Okpanam Kingdom especially in the area of infrastructure, recalling that when comparing the place of the community in the last 20 years, one would appreciate the fact that the community had been transformed into an urban community.
